I adore French Sole ballet flats but I have to agree with Carrie Bradshaw when she said that “I’m very, very comfortable in heels. The higher the better.” In fact, that’s why I’m known amongst my friends for having no fear of heights, while I dance the night away in 5-inch heels. Having said that though, running all day long from meeting to meeting across London, requires shoes that are literally somewhat more down to earth. I also love the ultra-stylish crocodile-effect on my gorgeous footwear. The shoes come in black colour, so it’s easy to dress them up or down, which makes them exactly what I need for a day-to-night look. Today is no exception, being a bit of test-run for my never worn but a season must-have checked skirt. I chose to mix it with an orange blouse in the softest silk, and a trench coat, the most quintessential of British outerwear, perfect for the unpredictable autumnal London weather. 

With a very busy schedule, four business meetings, a quick lunch, last-minute shopping, and now an important dinner, there’s no time for additional styling. Applying red lipstick will have to do the trick. It’s been a very long and eventful day but my Brenda heels are a match made for any challenge. As Marilyn Monroe famously said, “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.” And remember, French Sole shoes are always the right shoes, for every occasion.
