Amélie’s Adventures in Vancouver

Amélie’s Adventures in Vancouver

It’s said that a leopard can’t change its spots. So, in order to start the new year with a new me, by my feline logic, I rather will be like the jaguar instead. That is, in the form of venturing out on my latest pursuit, choosing to wear the super practical, super warm and most definitely super stylish French Sole Charlotte Boots in Jaguar print, which are the perfect choice when comfort is paramount.

As I’ll be taking flight across the Capilano Suspension Bridge, high above the treetop canopies, I think my choice of footwear wise. For my latest adventure sees me taking in the splendours of what is often said to be the ‘Hollywood of the North’, Canada’s jewel on the west coast, Vancouver. A city with much the same shape-shifting ways as myself, whose surrounding natural beauty has stood in for much of the US in TV shows such as The X-Files and for films including the Twilight saga. Tom Cruise even filmed Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol’s Mumbai scenes on the waterfront here by simply throwing in a few palm trees and Indian signage. Now that’s a chameleon that I can respect.

And like nature’s perfect blender, mix and match is my style motto for 2019. As I’ve discovered recently, animal print goes beautifully with everything in my wardrobe, regardless of colour and type of fabric. It’s also a trend that’s here to stay, so why not unleash the animal inside you and get yourself a pair of Charlotte boots. No one makes shoes in jaguar print as French Sole does. I would know, after all, I have every one of their shoe styles that come in that particular print.

I’m very curious how other French Sole fans are styling their French Sole Charlotte Boots. Do mention #frenchsoleblogbyamelie on your Instagram and I’ll be reposting the most creative looks on our FS page.

With love,

Amélie Florentine
