A Merry French Sole Christmas
Christmas is Here – After the year I’ve had, I can’t wait to go present shopping (to get presents for myself)
2020 has been insanity and now we’re speeding towards 2021. Whether you’re excited or nervous for what the New Year will bring, what better way to get ready for it than buying some lovely presents. For yourself. (And others, I suppose). It’s cold outside, it’s dark when you go to work and dark when you leave, and every morning when you wake up your toes are mini ice blocks.
So it’s time to treat those tootsies (and yourself) to some brand new shoes to see yourself through the festival season! And, as I’m sure you can guess, I have plenty of French Sole Suggestions. So put down your wrapping paper, finish jamming your tinsel on your tree, and get ready to browse!
Now, winter is my favourite time to mix up my block colours. The little black dress dances in and out of my wardrobe every other day, my a-line skirts do the tango with different jumper partners each week, and my dark jeans make my bright full-sleeve tops jump out. And my French Sole flats compliment each outfit perfectly.
My jaguar Amelie, one of my favourite styles and an everyday classic, is a cute contrast to my black skirt, especially when I match it with my leopard print jumper- with my red Alice band as another bold splash of colour to finish the look! The burgundy Lol – a gorgeous deep colour for winter – work for a casual but stylish combination with any outfit. But my absolute favourite for the winter season (and for my bubble-of-six festive celebrations!) are my Lovehearts. Black and white tartan with a beautiful red glitter heart, they’re Christmassy, they’re bright, and you can’t look at them without smiling at how cute they are! Plus, if you get over to the website quickly, you can get them on sale.
So what are you waiting for? Get some mince pies going, stick up the stockings, make sure you have plenty of quality street ready to go, and get in the Christmas spirit. I think after 2020 we could all do with a bit of Xmas cheer. Whack on your French Soles, pop Elf on in the background, and get ready to treat yourself.
Eat lots, watch some lovely Christmas films, have a bit of bubbly and as always,
Stay Safe. xxx
